Preserving Ancient Sustainable Traditions for Eating and Thriving
PAST EAT
PAST EAT is a project funded by Sapienza University of Rome and affiliated with the Department of Science of Antiquities. The project is based on the idea that archaeology is not only a tool for investigate the past, but can also provide concrete solutions to present-day challenges, such as the climate crisis and public health issues.
PAST EAT aims to promote the dissemination of knowledge about ancient food practices and the scientific methods used to study past diets. The project employs a variety of communcation channels, including social media, in order to reach a broad and diverse audience.
In addition, PAST EAT encourages healthier and more sustainable lifestyles through the modern reinterpretation of ancient recipies and traditional methods of food preservation and processing.
