Meet the Team

The PAST EAT project was born within a BE-FOR-ERC project, funded for the years 2025–2026 by Sapienza University of Rome.

The project is developed within the Department of Ancient Sciences and is based at the LTFAPA Laboratory, coordinated by Cristina Lemorini.

PAST EAT is carried out by a team of archaeology researchers and students from Sapienza, brought together by a shared interest in the study of food and food practices in the past. The project also benefits from numerous collaborations, making the research dynamic and strongly interdisciplinary.
